Body and Sole Weekend 2009 at Balmoral

For relative beginners/those looking to re-energise their running

Your Full Board Running Weekend package includes:

  • 2 nights (27th and 28th February) plus an additional lunch
  • 3 Guided Runs: Friday afternoon; Saturday morning; Sunday morning
  • Sessions with Alan Sealy, Chartered Physiotherapist who specialises in sports injuries (especially for runners) 
  • Presentation and discussions with Dr Chris Fenn, leading sports nutritionist
  • Presentation and discussions with top endurance coach, Mel Edwards
  • Sessions on "Stretching for Runners" and "Core Stability for Runners"
  • Practical Yoga session

Your Accommodation

  • Balmoral Estate Apartment (1 only available)

The apartment sleeps two people (double or twin). It has its own living room, kitchen (not that you'll need it!) and bathroom.  An ideal choice if you can book it in time!

  • Balmoral Estate (Single rooms only)

A unique opportunity to stay in the modern staff building adjacent to the castle.  Each single room has a wash basin, TV/DVD and tea/coffee making equipment.  Facilities are shared.

  • Tangley House 

A wonderfully restored 4-Star Victorian guest house set in the heart of the picturesque village of Ballater.  Double and twin rooms are en-suite; single occupancy is available.  

Optional Extras

In addition to the full accommodation and training package, you also have the option to book a sports massage session. We'll also be happy to work with you to set up a Personal Training Plan.
