Mental Fitness
Mental fitness is a state of mind which helps a person perform to the best of his or her ability.

It concerns:

   Method of Achievement: 
 a)Motivation
          
Goal setting
 b)Self-confidence
 Elimination of anxiety
 c)
Positive imagery  Visualisation
 d)Control of anxiety
 Centering, relaxation
 e)Concentration
 Focusing
 f)Persistence
 Positive attitude,experience
 g)Preparation
 Performance segmenting
 h)COMMITMENT
 Putting in the effort

To elaborate on some of the above terminology:

Goal setting - a process of setting targets as a means of developing motivation and directing appropriate attentional focus.
Visualisation - mental rehearsal of tasks.
Centering - a breathing technique to reduce tension.
Performance segmenting - a means of enhancing psychological control by breaking down preparation into distinct phases.

Mental fitness is basically common sense, but it is not often common practice. Give yourself a rating from 1-10 on the above aspects.
