"The whole weekend has been excellent. Great timetable with every talk helping to encourage with various aspects of fitness. Would now aim to vary running training and come back for another weekend as an improved runner. Thanks for a great weekend." Helen from Aberdeenshire Balmoral was again the base for our annual Body and Sole Weekend; designed specifically for those who are either relatively new to running or who have perhaps been away from running for some time. Our guests who came from all over the UK (and quite a few from nearby) enjoyed a good mix of guided runs, "Stretching & Core Stability For Runners", yoga, sports massage, coaching and nutritional advice. All the food was as ever locally sourced and approved by our Nutritionist so everybody ate really well. Heather, the chef at Balmoral, again came up trumps and served us food fit for a king (or queen)!
The RTH team of Neil, Emma, Mel, Ruth, Chris, Mark, Catriona, Lynn and Keith were all on hand to make sure that everyone got the most out of the weekend. Glynn, Head Ranger at Balmoral, gave us a fascinating insight to the management and wildlife of the Estate. "I think the holiday was wonderful. It was very enjoyable and motivational.
