What is a Tailored Running Holiday?

What exactly is a tailored running holiday? Would it work for you?  We offer all year round bespoke holidays, tailored for individuals, couples, families and groups (e.g. running clubs, schools, colleges and organisations).

We've had great feedback from our guests, including Wei Wong, who was here in August for a week's running holiday from Hong Kong. Here are some real life examples from the many people who've enjoyed a running holiday with us.

Example 1: A family of three from Surrey stayed for 3 nights at the Hilton Craigendarroch. The dad, who was training for the 2006 London Marathon, enjoyed 3 guided off road runs whilst mother and son went touring in the area, taking in some of the attractions such as quad biking and go-karting. All went home relaxed and refreshed. A few weeks later dad beat his marathon PB at London.

Example 2: A guy from Central London stayed for 5 nights at a 4 star B&B. He enjoyed 5 guided off road runs with a sports massage session to help his recovery half way through the week. He has come back again twice for a couple of weekends in less than a year!

Example 3: A woman from Glasgow came up for 3 nights at the Balgonie Country House Hotel. She enjoyed 3 guided runs, a one to one pilates session and a sports massage. A couple of weeks later she competed in the 2006 Glasgow Half Marathon and took 3 minutes off her PB time.

We ask all our guests to complete an evaluation form at the end of their holiday. This gives us valuable feedback on every aspect of the holiday. We are very pleased to report that every one of our guests has (a) stated that their expectations have been exceeded (b) given the area a maximum score of 10 as "an area for a running holiday".
