Meet the Running The Highlands Team!
First and foremost - we are all people who enjoy running. None of us takes ourselves too seriously - we run because we love it. We have all run in this area for many years and passionately believe that the running trails in this part of Scotland are amongst the best in the world. We would like others to be able to find out just how wonderful the area is too!
Our dedicated and qualified team are there to ensure that you get as much out of your holiday as possible.

Ben Preece - Guide
We are delighted that Ben, one of Scotland's top veteran endurance runners for the past 20 years started guiding for us during 2010 - a 2 times Lairig Ghru winner and 2:33 marathoner. Incredibly knowledgeable (about just about everything!), reassuring and a great person to run with, Ben has been a major addition to our team. Claire Macaskill - Guide
Claire's first contact with RTH was as a guest when she was training for a marathon. She was so taken with the trails on which we run that she asked us if she could do some guiding and we were delighted to oblige as Claire has all the attributes we look for in our guides - friendly, sociable, knowledgeable about running and self reliant (as well as being a good runner!). She has developed into a highly competitive runner; having taken almost an hour off her marathon PB in a year. She guides for us on our training weekends and Running Tours.
Claire is also our eyes and ears for Facebook - make sure you have a look at our Running The Highlands page.
