Tailored Holiday – What to expectBy definition a tailored holiday is bespoke – just for you and nobody else, but here’s an idea of what a holiday with us might include. Remember you can do as much or as little as you want but you won’t have to worry about any hassle – we’ll deal with all of that!!

Pick up from Aberdeen airport or train/bus station and transfer to accommodation.
Day free to explore the area – Ballater, for example, has several
interesting shops with fabulous local crafts and produce
and high quality gifts.

4.00pm
|
Pick up from accommodation for guided run with one of our guides – our
guides are local and love their running. They can run at a pace
and distance that suits you and know the vast selection of
off-road trails so you don’t have to worry about buying maps or getting lost. Amazingly there are still some areas around here
that are blind spots for Garmins and other GPS systems. Our
guides don’t have blind spots!!
Several of our team are UK Athletics registered coaches and can give you coaching tips as you run.

Monday

Pick up from accommodation for another guided run. We will vary the
routes and challenges to suit and can even offer
alternatives on the day, depending on the way you feel!

5.00pm
|
If you wish, we can arrange for you to meet with Dr Chris Fenn, our
Sports Nutritionist, to discuss particular aspects of your
running/training and nutrition or hydration.

Tuesday
|

All day
|
Free day to explore the area – we can offer help if you need it or if
you prefer to have time to yourselves to find out what’s
around, we will absolutely leave you in peace!
We have in the past helped with Whisky Distillery Tours, Castle
Visits, Activity Park outings, and arranged cycle hire,
canoe instruction and mountain guiding through our wide
range of contacts with other reputable companies in the area. We have a great relationship with others in the tourism industry
here and will be happy to help, if you want it!!

Wednesday

|
Pick up from accommodation for another guided run – this is a running
holiday after all! However, if you are here with non-running
friends or family, we will happily guide you all on a walk
in the area or help with other activities for them while you run.

4.00pm
|
Stretching/Core Stability or Pilates session at your accommodation with a Pilates Institute qualified instructor.

Thursday
|
|
10.00am
|
Pick up from accommodation for guided run or perhaps some cross training with a guided cycle ride.
|
2.00pm
|
Sports Massage with one of our professional, approachable massage therapists – Catriona, Lynn, Gail or Ingrid are all highly
recommended and superb at finding those little niggles and
helping ease aching muscles. They all have experience of
runners of all shapes and sizes.

Friday
|
|
11.00am
|
Pick up from accommodation for a gentle guided run.
|
4.30pm
|
If you have requested a personal training plan, we will meet with you
to discuss, in detail, any targets you might have and your
other work/family/time commitments to build a plan that is
meaningful and manageable! You will then have a workable schedule to follow to help you achieve what you want from your
running – whatever that might be.

Saturday
|

Pick up from accommodation for transfer to Aberdeen airport or train/bus station.
